We are a small studio that ships its own software.

21 artifacts in the register — the number is printed from the database, so it only grows. An independent software foundry, founded 2023, a venture of Gigai Mata. We build products first and document everything; this site is the document.

FILE 2023 — FOUNDING

The studio is founded as a venture of Gigai Mata; the legal name Gigai Kripa Services goes on the ledger's first line. The working name is simply Gigai, and the rule is set on day one: ship your own software first.

FILE 2024 — THE CLIENT YEARS

Billing platforms, construction, portfolios, travel. We say plainly what they were: rent, and an apprenticeship. Client work taught us to ship on someone else's deadline before we trusted ourselves with our own.

FILE 2025 — THE SHELF FILLS

The games wing arrives, the extensions go live on the Chrome Web Store, the first packages ship. The register stops being a plan.

FILE 2026 — THE PLATFORM ERA

gigai.tools crosses 250 live tools, Chronicle ships to npm and two extension marketplaces, and this site becomes v2.0 — The Index.

How we think,

  1. Every product is its own startup

    GLOAM's monochrome-and-ember is not RICOCHET's candy arcade is not Odysseo's cream-and-gold. The graphite room exists so their colors read as theirs.

  2. Browser-first; your files are yours

    Our tools run on your device, not on our servers. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is profiled — privacy as an engineering habit, not a policy page.

  3. Constraints are the design

    One input made DUSKWALKER. One accent color made this site. The best specification is the one that forbids the most.

  4. Document, don't advertise

    The record outlives the pitch. Chronicle exists because we wanted the prompts kept next to the code: git blame says who; chronicle says what was asked.

  5. Failure is a deliverable

    Parked projects keep their entries and their lessons. A studio that hides its dead ends is hiding its learning rate.
